EditLive! Swing SDK System Requirements

Review the system requirements for running EditLive! Swing SDK.

Windows

You can check that you have the correct Java runtime environment (JRE) directly on the Sun Microsystems site at http://java.sun.com/getjava.

Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, NT 4.0, 98 or Me:

  • Pentium 300-MHz or faster processor with at least 64Mb of RAM
  • Java Runtime Environment version 1.4.2 or above.

Mac OS X

Mac OS X comes with Java standard and to make sure you have the best experience just keep your system up-to-date with upgrades directly from Apple.

Apple Macintosh OS X:

  • Mac OS X 10.1.1 Update (includes MAC OS X Java 2 Runtime Environment)

Linux

You can check that you have the correct Java runtime environment (JRE) directly on the Sun Microsystems site at http://java.sun.com/getjava.

Any Linux distribution:

  • Java Runtime Environment version 1.4.2 or above.
  • Pentium 300-MHz or faster with at least 64MB of RAM

Solaris

Sun Solaris 8 OE:

  • Java Runtime Environment version 1.4.2 or above.
