Ephox EditLive! for Windows 4.0 - What's New & Noteworthy

EditLive! for Windows 4.0 boasts major new features.  The features of this release include internationalization support, absolute positioning, HTML forms support and an improved user interface.

Internationalization Support
Incorporate EditLive! for Windows into internationalized applications with new support for international character sets and interface translations. 

Create content in a wide variety of international character sets.  Supported character sets include Arabic (ISO8859-6), Chinese (Big5), Japanese (Shift-JIS), Cyrillic (ISO8859-5) and Unicode (UTF-8).

The interface for EditLive! for Windows is now available in the following languages:

  • English
  • Arabic
  • Dutch
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish

Absolute Positioning
Easily position images, tables and DIVs via drag and drop with new support for absolute positioning.  Content can be placed relative to other objects via Bring to Front and Send to Back functions.

HTML Forms Support
Insert form elements with new support for HTML forms.  EditLive! for Windows now includes support for creating and editing a wide variety of HTML forms elements.
Improved User Interface
Create content more intuitively with an improved user interface. 
Paste Special
Control how you paste content with Paste Special functionality allowing content to be pasted as plain text, HTML with styles or plain HTML.
Find Next
Search a document quickly and easily with new Find Next functionality.
Improved Image Insertion
Insert Image from the local machine, a remote sever or WebDAV.
