Upgrade instructions for:

For IBM Web Content Management version 6.0

To upgrade to a new release of the Ephox integration into IWWCM, perform the following steps:

  • If the integration is configured to use the sample_eljconfig.xml configuration file, and you have made changes to this file (e.g. adding your license details, adding additional menu or toolbar items), you'll need to back this configuration file up. Simply rename the file sample_eljconfig.xml.bak.
  • Install the latest release of the Ephox integration as directed in the Installation Instructions.
  • If using the sample_eljconfig.xml configuration file, you'll need to port your desired configurations from your backed-up instance of sample_eljconfig.xml.bak into the new copy of the file.
  • The version 3.x releases Ephox integration into IWWCM use the EditLive! 6.0 editor. If you are currently operating a release of the Ephox integration into IWWCM with a version number less than 3.0.0.1, you'll need to obtain a new EditLive! license from Ephox to use EditLive! 6.0. Apply this license key to any EditLive! configuration files used by your integration.

To locate the version number for your currently installed integration, see the res/editlivejava/versions.txt file in your IWWCM install)
