Find, Insert and Upload Images

Add images to your content directly from the repository or a users local file system.  Integrated repository browsing enables users to search for, preview and insert images directly from the IWWCM repository.  If an image isn't already online simply add it to IWWCM through an intuitive upload mechanism.  Image resources are then automatically managed as part of your IWWCM web site.

No More Broken Images

Actively prevent broken images through content management.  Integrated IWWCM functionality ensures that images inserted with EditLive!'s integrated repository browser cannot be broken.  Linked images within IWWCM are managed to ensure that they cannot be accidentally deleted if they are referenced by a document.

Seamless Upload and Resource Management

Images from the contributor's local file system can be automatically uploaded to IWWCM.  For contributors who want improved image resource management, they can also check in images via the integrated image dialog to easily store an image in the IWWCM library with metadata, workflow and other properties.

Insert video and audio files

Users can browse for media files on their local machine or a digital asset management repository.  The following rich media types are supported by default.

  • Audio - WAV, MP3, AVI
  • Video - Quick Time, Windows Media, Windows Media streaming
  • Flash

Other media formats can be supported by creating new object classes in the multimedia dialog.  These multimedia objects can then be customized with hyperlinks, page positioning and borders.
