EditLive! System Requirements

Please note these are the client system requirements. EditLive! will run on any HTTP compliant Web or application server.

Windows

Operating Systems - Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP (Recommended), Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista.
Browsers - Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Firefox 1.5 or higher, Mozilla 1.4 or higher, Netscape 7.1 or higher and Opera 8 or higher.
Java Runtime Environment - Java 2 Standard Edition 1.4.2 or higher. The JRE will automatically install if it is not already installed.
Minimum Hardware - Pentium II 500-MHz (Recommended: Pentium II 1GHz or greater) and 128 MB RAM (Recommended: 512 MB RAM or greater).

Operating Systems - Mac OS X 10.1.x, Mac OS X 10.2.x and later
Browsers - Apple Safari 1.0 or higher, Firefox 1.5 or higher
Java Runtime Environment - Mac OS X comes with Java standard and to make sure you have the best experience just keep your system up-to-date with upgrades directly from Apple.
Minimum Hardware - PowerPC 604e 266 MHz (Recommended: PowerPC G4 667MHz or greater) and 128 MB RAM (Recommended: 512 MB RAM or greater). Ephox supports the full line of new Intel Chips.

Operating Systems - Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Suse, Sun Java Desktop System, SLEC and TurboLinux. See Sun's J2SE 5.0 system requirements for detailed requirements.

Java Runtime Environment - J2SE 1.4.2 or higher
Minimum Hardware - Intel Pentium II or AMD K6-III+ 233 MHz CPU (Recommended: 500MHz or greater) and 64 MB RAM (Recommended: 128 MB RAM or greater)
