Migrate to EditLive! from EditLive! ActiveX SDK

Ephox is retiring EditLive! for Windows (also known as EditLive! ActiveX SDK).  EditLive! for Windows will no longer be available for purchase.  Clients with existing EditLive! for Windows deployments and a current AUS subscription will still be entitled to support until December 31, 2008.

Why Migrate?

Clients with EditLive! for Windows and current AUS can migrate to EditLive! free of charge.  Migrating to EditLive! will provide you with the latest, award winning Ephox product.  Migrating to EditLive! is simple and we've outlined the process in the documents below and provided a configuration mapping.

EditLive! includes a number of features that have never been available in EditLive! for Windows including:

• Cross-platform support for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris.
• Browser support for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera and Safari
• The EditLive! Productivity Pack with Change Tracking, Thesaurus and Equation Editing
• Real-time spell check as-you-type
• Full screen mode
• Accessibility Checking for W3C WCAG and USA Section 508

EditLive! also provides a greater range of options for flexible configuration and deeper integration:

• XML-based configuration for easier customization and configuration management
• Custom tag support
• Rich APIs and plugin architecture for JavaScript, XML and Java
