The EditLive! for XML Configuration Tool is available from the Ephox Web site as a Java Webstart application. The EditLive! for XML Configuration Tool enables developers to easily create and edit XML configuration files to be used with EditLive! for XML.

For EditLive! for XML two configuration tools are available. One for EditLive! for XML and one for the Visual Designer.

The Configuration Tools can be accessed from the following URL:

When initially accessing the configuration tool Internet access is required. During the deployment from the Ephox Web site developers can choose to create a means of accessing the configuration tool from their local machine, without Internet access. After initially access the configuration tool developers can use it on their local client without Internet access. Internet access is then only required to download updates to the configuration tool.

After its initial deployment the configuration tool behaves as a normal local application. Developers can load and save configuration files from their local machine through the configuration tool's File menu and toolbar buttons.
