EditLiveGlobal Object

An EditLiveGlobal object allows you to define certain properties that will be applied to all EditLive! objects within the page. This object is used to set properties relating to the installation of the EditLive! software.

An EditLiveGlobal object does not have to be explicitly created. It is automatically created within a page when the editLive4.js file is referenced in the HEAD section of the page. This object is named EditLiveGlobal.

 

EditLiveGlobal Properties	Available EditLiveGlobal properties in alphabetical order
AutoInstallation	This property enables or disables the auto-installation features of EditLive!.
DownloadDirectory	This property indicates which Web server directory the auto-installation and other EditLive! files should be downloaded from.
Minimum Version	This property sets the minimum version of EditLive! that the client must be running.
