UK INSIDE SOFTWARE SALES EXECUTIVE

This fast-growing and profitable enterprise software company is seeking an inside sales executive to join its European team.

 

The company has more than quadrupled sales in recent years and its. Partners are key to our success and we have established relationships IBM, Oracle, Vignette, Open Text and others.

 

The product enables faster and more productive website authoring. Customers are usually large enterprises with a substantial investment in their intranet or public-facing web site. European customers include Swiss Re, AHold, Reuters and Oxfordshire Council.

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, pursue and close new business leads.
  • Meet all monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Make consultative sales presentations to potential clients. Presentations will be by phone, Internet and occasionally face-to-face.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop customized proposals. Work with support engineers to further clarify technical issues when required.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of our products and internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate information on each active account in the CRM system.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction within client base by monitoring sales, support and administrative issues on an ongoing basis. Assist support and engineering departments to prioritize bug fixes and product enhancements. Act as the customer advocate in escalating issues for resolution with engineering and support.
  • Assist in planning and implementing marketing activities including conference attendance, public relations, advertising and marketing material development.

 

The desired candidate will have:

  • Experience selling technologies such as web content management, enterprise portals, digital asset management, social software or knowledge management.
  • Experience selling alongside and through the channel.
  • Ideally a language skill in a key market (French, Spanish, Italian, German, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree desirable.

 

Package: Basic £30-40K, OTE £60-80K

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and qualify inbound phone and web inquiries.
  • Develop the pipeline through a combination of cold calling, e-mail campaigns and partner networking.
  • Engage prospects and sell Ephox’s superior value proposition through consultative selling, ROI, references etc…
  • Manage the end to end sales process and engage the right resources: sales engineers, management, partners etc…
  • Update the CRM system – Netsuite – with customer data and forecasts.
  • Participate in trade shows and other events

Required skills/experience:

  • 3 years relevant experience selling software in the enterprise
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • History of consistent delivery against financial targets
  • Credibility with the customer at all levels
  • Experience selling in the IBM marketplace and professional sales training a plus
  • College degree is preferred
